Powerful!
This book is powerful and a must-read for any woman who finds herself wondering why she can’t lose weight. I looked for the “next” best thing and therefore tried every diet under the sun until I read this and Diet Disruption by Jennifer Powter. I wish I had these books more than 40 years ago when I started my yo-yo dieting. I am glad she was part of my search!

I Used to Rely on Will Power…Now I Know Better!
No one in my life has ever taught me how to feel my feelings or why it was even important to do so. I’ve relied on willpower and discipline for so long when it comes to weight loss and just thought something was wrong with me. Now I know I’m not broken, I just had more to learn. Thank you, Jennifer, for teaching me.

What Clients Are Saying
Ready to put an end to sabotaging your weight loss goals so you can lose the weight for good?
In these pages, you will find all the practical steps and strategies necessary to finally feel free with both food and your body, including:
Hey there friend, I’m Jen.
Have you ever felt so desperate to lose the weight that you feel willing to do almost anything?
Well, that was me. Except, I happened to have a master’s degree in science which meant that my logical, research-based mind constantly had to remind me of the ridiculousness of the diet claims I saw being widely marketed.
I was a personal trainer and coach, I’d done Ironman Canada previously… and yet somehow my once athletic, strong, fit body had turned to jiggly Jell-O and the 35+ pounds of extra weight was revolting to me.
What’s wrong with me? If I know better then why don’t I do better?
My Wake-Up Moment
It was – 20 degrees Celsius and I was hauling my fat, out of shape body for a run thinking the only way I could lose the weight was to punish myself with a gruelling exercise regime. The failing “move more, eat less” philosophy was the diet tactic of choice for me back then. As I tried to run from the fatigue, shame, and embarrassment I felt, in an instant, it all caught up with me. The sheer weight of it was enormous. I was exhausted. The willpower I’d been so desperately relying on drained from my body and I couldn’t take another step.
I cried and cried.
I dropped to my knees with tears streaming down my face. I turned towards the sun in the blue sky and said, “Oh my God, there has to be a better way than this.” (You can read this part of my story in Chapter 2.)
I swore to myself that never again would I be that pitiful, desperate, lost, hopeless woman on the side of the path who couldn’t see her own light.
And I’ve kept that promise to myself. I want you to make and keep that same promise to yourself. What you read in this book will help you.
I wrote this book because there’s a Missing Piece to the weight loss puzzle
And without it, you can have all the scientific knowledge in the world and never achieve complete food freedom and permanent weight loss success.
After coaching 2,000+ women across the globe, I’ve seen the same things come up over and over: You’ve tried every single diet out there, and it works while you’re on it. Then it gets too hard, you stop doing all-the-things, and the weight comes creeping back with a heaping side of feeling like a big, fat failure.
Diet fatigue can reduce any strong, competent, successful woman into an insecure, frustrated, overwhelmed, stress case.
What to do? You’ve got to understand you.
This book will help you get healthy from the inside out, so you can finally feel like yourself again, and live in a body you love.
Once you understand why you self-sabotage, and how to fix it, you’ll know where to focus your energy.
The emotional energy you’ve put into trying to lose weight dieting has been exhausting. Unsustainable.
You keep thinking that there’s got to be a better way.
And there is.
