I’ve received so many Facebook messages and emails about my new veggie spiralizer I had to make a video showing you how awesome it is. Especially because my #1 tip for healthy weight loss is to eat more vegetables.
Why? Because eating lots of vegetables helps you to feel full and studies have shown that when you feel full you’ll stop eating. BUT in order to feel full your gut needs to sense a certain volume of food has been consumed. If we try to consume that volume of food with carbohydrates (which most of us do because they’re quick and convenient to grab) then we tend to overeat because often carbohydrate based foods are really dense (think high calorie).
If we can use vegetables to help reach that desired gut volume then we’re able to consume a large amount of food without the density which ultimately will allow us to slowly and steadily lose weight. It certainly worked for me!
And a super fun way to get more veggies into your diet is with the spiralizer!
